Update: This campaign is over. Thank you to everyone who helped us raise $1,753!
Rosewood Community Council is raising money to purchase bulletproof vests for Columbia Police Department Officers and we need your help. Each vests costs $545.
Your contribution of $15, $25, or whatever you can afford will help ensure our officers have the tools they need to keep Rosewood safe. Please consider making a contribution. Every dollar we raise will go directly to purchasing vests for our officers. Your contribution will also be matched dollar-for-dollar by JHS Capitol Advisors.
Click here to donate online. Or contact Jenna Stephens at jenna@rosewoodcommunity.com to arrange for a contribution via check or credit card in person. RCC is a 501(c)(3), so your contributions may be deductible.
These vests save lives. Rosewood’s own PACE Officer, Officer Broder, was saved by his bulletproof vest when he was shot during a routine traffic stop two summers ago. Our police officers face possible danger daily in even the most routine tasks.
