  1. I was very depressed a few years ago when I found the old hangar on the verge of demolition. Thrilled to know it will be saved. I used to work there for Hawthorne Flying Service. Francis Miller was my supervisor and flight instructor. Mr Strickland was the FBO manager. I hired on as an after school employee fall of 1953 and left Mar of 1954 to enter the Air Force. Sorry, I have nothing from those times except one picture of me standing by an old radial engine.
