Oct. 18 Rosewood Elementary Tree Update

Do you live near Rosewood Elementary? Some trees on Prentice Street and South Walker currently have white ribbons around them from surveyors determining the sidewalk needs of the neighborhood.  See the below email for more details.

“We have received multiple calls over the last week about trees with white tags in the Rosewood area.  These trees are being surveyed for a Safe Route to School Project for Rosewood Elementary.  The tags on the trees do not mean anything except they are being placed on the survey for the project.  According to the surveyors, the flagging should be removed when the survey is completed and the hope is to have it completed by the end of next week (Oct. 28).  This project is in the planning stages and the survey is the first step.  Again, the white flagging does not mean anything related to the trees.

Please let me know if you have any other questions about this.

Thanks,
