I would like to see a study to determine how many street lights are missing from accident or removal. I conclude there must be some because the streets that are lit are lit in a way that looks to have many street lights missing. As a neighborhood we should also consider having SCEG put a safety light on our property close to the street. It cost nothing for installation and then 14.99 a month. This is a great deal. After 6 years there is no contract or cost to the owner as far as I can tell. I have one on this property and I am only a renter. Please help to lower crime with lights - it is the best bang for the back bar none.

What in the world is going on? Never thought I'd want to head to the 'burbs, but if this keeps up, it's a decent consideration. My next-door neighbors were robbed on New Year's Eve, while other neighbors were home all around them.
