Homes in the Rosewood neighborhood and businesses on Rosewood Drive have seen an alarming number of dangerous crimes, such as armed robberies, in the last few months. The Rosewood Community Council is holding a special meeting Thursday, January 19th, at 6:30 p.m. dedicated solely to addressing crime.
Please join your neighbors, our city councilmember Dr. Gergel, Captain Sharp of the Columbia Police Department, and business owners from Rosewood Drive as we work together to try to curb this problem. The meeting will be held at the Hamilton-Owens Airport conference room, 1400 Jim Hamilton Blvd.

What in the world is going on? Never thought I’d want to head to the ‘burbs, but if this keeps up, it’s a decent consideration. My next-door neighbors were robbed on New Year’s Eve, while other neighbors were home all around them.
Hi Beth. Don’t leave us! Crime is actually down overall in the neighborhood compared to previous years. But there’s still a long way to go. Hope to see you Thursday.
